Echoes of Extinction

2024

Echoes of Extinction is a haunting oil painting that captures a stark vision of environmental neglect. The background features Jupiter, its iconic Great Red Spot swirling ominously, a reminder of the vast forces at play in the universe. At the center of the composition is Mars, cold and barren, symbolizing a desolate future. In the foreground lies Earth, eerily lifeless—its surface devoid of vegetation or water, reduced to a gray, scarred wasteland. The juxtaposition of these celestial bodies evokes a chilling narrative about the fragility of our planet. Through its vivid imagery, the painting serves as a poignant call to action, urging humanity to care for the environment before it’s too late.

In March of 2025, Echoes of Extinction was showcased at the annual BFA exhibition at the Joseph Gross Gallery on the University of Arizona campus, where it garnered significant attention for its powerful environmental message. This impactful piece is now available for sale, offering a unique opportunity for collectors to own a thought-provoking work of art that sparks important conversations about our planet's future.
