I’m an artist with years of experience in the accounting field, and I’ve seen firsthand how the financial and administrative side of art-making can drain our time, energy, and confidence. That’s why I started VariaFlux: to give 2D studio artists the tools, education, and support they need to build sustainable, thriving businesses—without sacrificing their creative practice, health, or authenticity.

“VariaFlux” combines varia (variety, variation) and flux (movement, flow, change). To me, it represents exponential growth, direction, and opportunity—something I want every artist to experience. This hub exists to reduce gatekeeping in the art world by sharing business knowledge traditionally siloed in other industries, making it accessible and tailored to the way we, as artists, work and think.
Mission
Our mission is to liberate artists from the overwhelm of “wearing all the hats” in their art business. Through intuitive tools, accessible education, and inclusive support, VariaFlux empowers 2D studio artists, especially those with chronic illness, disability, or neurodivergence, to build aligned, sustainable art practices at their own pace.
We offer digital tools, masterclasses, and courses designed specifically for the real-world needs of artists. Whether you’re starting your first budget or finally setting up your admin systems, you’ll find what you need here, with encouragement, not pressure.
We also offer a scholarship program for low-income and disabled artists, because your circumstances shouldn’t be a barrier to creating art or building a business.
Vision
In the next 5–10 years, VariaFlux Art Hub will grow into a robust database of resources, an artist-centered community, and a dynamic online gallery space for emerging and mid-career 2D artists.
We envision quarterly themed exhibitions, a collector-facing blog and artist spotlight pages, and opportunities to exhibit work in curated shows. Long-term, we hope to offer a fully-funded artist residency designed for creators who need rest, time, and flexibility to thrive. Our ultimate goal is to help artists build experience, confidence, and visibility, without burnout or compromise.
